Connect your towed car's lighting system to your RV to activate the signal lights required for towing. This universal harness wires into your vehicle's existing wiring with the included connectors.
When you're towing a car behind your motorhome, you'll need a way to get the tail, brake, and turn signals from your RV to the car to be safe and legal. This kit plugs into factory ports on your vehicle so your car can display the electrical signals coming from your motorhome. That way everyone on the road knows what your rig is up to as you tow.
While this kit has everything you need to get your towed car wired and ready, you'll still need some gear to get moving. Quick-splice connectors are included in here to make connecting to your vehicle's wiring fast and easy. But we do usually recommend upgrading to heat shrink just to make sure you get the best connection for each wire. Also, to connect to your RV's electrical, you'll need an umbilical, and you'll need to make sure the plugs on that cord match the ones on your RV as well as the 4-way that's now on your car. If your RV has a 7-way, C57271 is a great option.
Something else to think about is whether or not you need a brake light relay. If your car's brake lights illuminate when the engine is off, you'll need to install a relay (RM-88400 - sold separately) to make sure the brake signal overrides the turn signal sent by your RV when you're slowing down to turn while towing.
And of course, there are a ton of other parts and accessories that will make towing your vehicle easy. Feel free to shop around our site or drop us a line if you have any questions. And once you get all set up, don't forget to send us a review full of pictures so we can see your rig out on the open road!

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our Blue Ox EZ Light Universal Tow Bar Wiring Kit. So folks, this is gonna be used for flat-tow wiring, so meaning you're gonna be pulling your vehicle behind your RV. This is gonna give you tail brake and turn signals on that towed vehicle. It is a universal kit, just like it says in the title.
So you're gonna have four wires. It's gonna go from there to all your wiring on your vehicle. You're gonna have this integrated modulator box that's gonna help input and output signals be the same and equal, rather. That way you're not overloading the system electrically. And then, of course, you're gonna have the wire that runs all the way up to the front, gets grounded, and then gives you that four-way or four-pole connector behind the RV to then plug in and send that signal back to the towed vehicle.
It includes all the wire cables, you got some dielectric grease for the electric connections, some self-tapping screws, and, of course, a bracket to hold this in place at the front of the towed vehicle if needed. That way you have a nice, sturdy place so nothing's bouncing around on you and everything while you're towing. So very nice product. This again is the Blue Ox EZ Light Universal Tow Bar Wiring Kit. Folks, I'm Steven.
That's gonna wrap it up. As always, we'd love to see videos and hear how you're using it, and photos, what you're doing with it and how much you like it and everything. Have a good one.
